Eco-nemguard™ is a suspension concentrate containing 99% garlic extract (CLAIL 0021). Utilising OCP’s patented technology it has a stabilised and recognised DAS fingerprint. Eco-nemguard™ acts as a contact nematicide on nematodes living freely in the soil. It is registered for use in organic farming systems for the suppression of Endoparasitic and Ectoparasitic nematodes (such as Trichodorus spp. Longidorus spp. Pratylenchus spp. Meloidogyne spp. Tylenchus spp. Xiphinema spp. Heterodera spp. Globodera spp) living freely in the soil and nematode damage to all vegetables and amenity turf.
• Novel active based on extraction & stabilisation of diallyl polysulfides (das) from garlic
• New mode of action to assist with nematicide resistance management
• Easy to apply liquid formulation
• No WHP or re-entry restrictions
• Degrades naturally in the soil, having minimal impact on other soil biology
• Approved as an organic input under Australian and international standards
• No MRL and has no negative impact on crop roots – ideal for short term crops (e.g., Salad crops)
• Excellent fit with pre-plant nematicides as a “top up” for long crop cycles in highly infested soils
