Reliable Pre-Emergent Weed Control for Garden Beds and Nursery Pots

BARRICADE® is an easy-to-use liquid pre-emergent herbicide exempt from poisoning schedule. It is designed for residual control of grassy weeds in established garden beds, potted plants, and landscape settings. BARRICADE® works by inhibiting cell division in the root tips of germinating weed seeds.

The active ingredient binds high in the soil profile, forming a barrier that controls weeds for up to 6 months, without affecting established plant roots—keeping ornamentals in prime condition. Its extended residual activity allows for greater flexibility in application timing and reduces the frequency of weed maintenance programs.

Attention needs to be paid to the application of BARRICADE in order to optimise the weed
control in nursery potted plants. The diversity of plant types, canopy shapes, pot sizes and soil types all need to be considered along with the limitations of application equipment.
