Hailnet is designed specifically for use by the horticulture industry. It is attached to a support grid (usually cable) and suspended over crops to help minimise damage from hailstorms and strong winds. Hailnet has a low shade factor of 18-20% which can also assist in offering heat protection for plants and seedlings.

Hailnet has a reinforced selvedge outer edge as well as centre reinforcement to aid fixing.
